York day & travels to London
Hello everyone!
Today we were led on a tour through York by Dr. Joanna Huntington. It started at the Jorvik Viking Museum; and although interesting, multiple students commented about the stark differences between the seriousness of the Viking Ship Museum in Norway, and the almost comical twist presented by the British.

Either way, the group looks fabulous with one of the vikings!

Why yes, this is an actual, real sign. It's the longest name for the shortest road in York!
As a brief aside, today is U.K's Mother's Day; so for everyone back home, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
The streets were incredibly crowded!
One of our last sights of York, just before the train station. A sheep wearing rain boots...!
Upon arriving to London this evening, it was overcast, yet the warmest of our trip with temperatures near 50 degrees!
Ooo! Double decker busses abound!
A clocktower near Kings Cross Station.
Tomorrow, we have a full day planned. Our morning will be at the Tower of London, and the afternoon at the British Museum; lots of fun awaits us! :)
