March 4 –
            Leave Oneonta 5pm from in front of Bacon Hall
Norwegian Air International Flight 1770 – 9PM from Stewart International Airport/Newburgh

March 5 –
 Norwegian Airlines Flight DY617 Bergen - Oslo 12:00 – 1255
Local train to Oslo S station, then tram #11, 12, 13, or 17 or Bus #30 or 31 to Hausmann’s Gate

Stay in Anker Hotel, Storgate 55, Phone 22 99 75 10

Free to rest, explore, or join Dr Harper for a walk and dinner at Mathallen ( a food hall like Quincy Market in Boston).

March 6 – Viking Ship Museum and Museum of Cultural History  - lecture by Dr Marianne
                        Moen, University of Oslo archaeologist

March 7 – Free Day in Oslo – First journal assignment

March 8 – Flight 9: 55 am to London Stanstead via Ryan Air
            Train to York
            Stay in Hotel 53 – 53 Picadilly, York
            Walk on the medieval walls and Clifford’s Tower with Dr Harper or a free evening – your choice.
             
March 9 – train to Lindisfarne and Durham – lecture by Dr Foxhall Forbes – Second journal
            assignment exercise

March 10 – Free Day – Third journal assignment given out

March 11 – York Day with Dr Joanna Huntington – evening train to London
            Staying at YHA Kings Cross, St Pancras

March 12 – Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London with Dr Sally Dixon-Smith,
                        Historical Curator of the Tower

March 13 – Lincoln Cathedral and British Museum treasure hunt

March 14 – Canterbury (pending Dr Hicks’ availability) Dover Castle and White Cliffs of Dover

March 15th  - free day – Final journal assignment

March 16th - Norwegian Flight 7015 Gatwick – JFK 5:10-9:30

            Must leave hotel by 1:30 – we have a 2:12 train from St Pancras to Gatwick Airport
